About Us

Custom Body Repairs was proudly established in 1970 and provides a comprehensive range of body repair services.

In 2004, workshop owner John took over the business and brings with him more than 35 years of industry experience.

With a wealth of vehicle repair knowledge and hands-on experience, John previously owned and operated JJJ Repairs, which he sold in early 2000.

Previously working as a licensed vehicle assessor for GIO for three and a half years, John understands better than most the challenges that comes with repairing customer’s vehicles.

With a passion for repairing and racing cars, John and his brother (who is a heavy vehicle panel repairer) used to circuit race Torana’s at Winton near Benalla and originally started fixing cars under the guidance of their father, who was also a skilled and knowledgeable mechanic.

With four mechanics working at the busy workshop, the team have a combined 80 years of experience and are all fully qualified tradespeople.
